2/26/12: UPDATE #32
Well, so far I haven’t been very good about updating this website. I apologize and will be quicker in the future.
I haven’t been idle though. I’ve been working on the 56th Reunion for ’56 and it happens to be occurring on the 5th & 6th of October. Please do your best to clear your calendars and attend. I’m hoping it will be fun while we’re all still on the low side of our 70s. Here’s what I have in mind;
A tour of the old WPHS which is a technical school now. This will include a lunch prepared by the Culinary School, which trains future chefs. (Friday the 5th)
A mixer Friday evening at Aunt Chilada’s, where the beer is cold, the drinks are smooth, the music hot and the snacks are tasty.
Choice of golf or a visit to the Phoenix Zoo on Saturday.
Weather, hopefully nice, will give us some time at the pool to visit and chat. (We will accept the fact that corduroy has replaced silk for most of us, huh?) Who cares?
Saturday evening will be a dinner and dance so bring your cameras and have fun.
If I’ve left anything out, or if you would like something scheduled for Sunday AM as well, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
In the meantime, please contact everyone you know as there are not that many who read what’s on the website. Also let me know if there is interest in this shindig. There is a lot of effort going into making this an important milestone for this aging set of Thunderbirds and I would love to have strong attendance.
Thanks,
A.J. Neiman, Class of ’56

Welcome to the West Phoenix High School Class of 1956 web site. This site was created on November 1, 2002. This site belongs to you and your classmates. You are welcome to add pictures, events, births (grandchildren, at least, I hope), vacation pictures, tragedies, get togethers, possible get togethers, or any event you think may be of interest to classmates. Submit the facts to me and I will see to it that it is put on the web site. Please format and print the information as you wish to have it displayed and I can copy or forward it to our webmaster.
I will be sending notices via regular mail and E-mail to all last known addresses to let everyone know about this web site. Changes and updates will take place as I receive them. While E-mail is the best way to stay in touch, snail-mail is also okay. Click here to subscribe to our e-mail mailing list if you have not already received a message from me. |
